The IODP-China Office is located in Tongji University. Its major responsibilities are: coordinating of IODP-China with other IODP organizations, offering supports for the IODP-China Work Coordination Group and Scientific Committees, organizing Chinese scientists to participate in IODP expeditions and serving on the IODP panels. The Office is also responsible for the management of the IODP-China documents and publications, the development of IODP-China annual plan and report, and IODP-China public outreach, and other tasks assigned by IODP-China Work Coordination Group and Scientific Committee.
