2023年AGU秋季会议将于12月11－15日在美国旧金山召开。美国罗德岛大学Rebecca S Robinson教授联合意大利米兰大学Elisabetta Erba教授、日本大阪大学Harue Masudai教授、同济大学刘志飞教授和印度国家海洋研究所Nisha Nair博士共同发起了会议专题：“大洋钻探数据应用新方法”（IN037 - Novel Approaches in the Use of Scientific Ocean Drilling Data），现诚邀国内外同行学者提交摘要。 

专题简介

Scientific ocean drilling data collected over more than five decades have been critical in advancing nearly all areas of the geosciences. Through international collaboration, substantial investments have been made in facilities, repositories, and databases that enhance the accessibility of these data and materials. The International Ocean Discovery Program will end in 2024, but resources in the form of kilometers of core, multitudes of digital data, and physical assets (e.g., observatories) remain available for future discovery. Integrating new and existing datasets across expeditions and employing new technologies and analysis tools to explore them have the potential to generate globally significant insights on emerging scientific questions, stimulate new fields of inquiry, and offer broad-access opportunities for training and development.

We invite abstracts that describe past or potential future studies that involve integrative, multi-expedition and multi-disciplinary approaches to using ocean drilling data to investigate key Earth system questions.
