地球系统科学大会”是地球科学领域以华语作为主要交流语言的大幅度跨学科交叉的学术会议，其前身为2010年夏季在上海召开的“第一届深海研究与地球系统科学大会”，当时有来自海内外86个单位近500位华人学者参加了会议。
